Second place finisher or first place looser

Hey my first show of the year is in the books and I am happy with the package I  presented. I was bigger in the areas where I wanted to be and my condition was really good. You can always get harder and I plan to be for next weeks show in LA. I got some recognition on my pysique and on my routine from a pro bodybuilder so that made me proud.
The show was held in an arena only a few minutes from the hotel so that made everything really easy. After predjuging I went to my favorit burger place In&Out to get a doubble doubble and some fries
and after that I got to lay in my bed for a few hours watching my team Holland win the brons medal in the world cup. Finals started at 6 and since I was out pretty much first it was all over with at around 7.
I did my posing routine to purple rain by prince (bringing back the posing of the 90 ala Kevin Levrone). After the show I went to get some Taco Bell another favorite of mine.

Me and IFBB PRO Pete Ciccone who liked my pysique and said my routine gave him goosebumps.

After a shower we headed downtown San Diego to get some more food of course haha

We went with Italian so spaggetti it was and I got to enjoy a cold Miller.
Sunday morning started with a trip to Mimi's cafe for some pancakes
After the pancakes we drove to World Gym for a chest and shoulder workout
and wow what a great gym. An old school place with the best equipment and lot's of people training hard. Pete Ciccone was there, big Jon Ward was there training legs, and it is also the home of Derek Farnsworth.

After that we drove five hours to get home and I have now done 40 min cardio and are ready to go to bed. I got some work to do next week so it is good night. Thank you all that wrote to me and cheered for me this weekend hope to bring home another thropy next saturday.

I am registered and ready, Now it's a party

Ok

I completed the check ins and weight was just under 87kg!!
Everything went smooth and fast so I am happy about that. Met a cool guy that drove here from phoenix to compete so we will probably hang out back stage tomorrow and help each other as you are not aloud to have a coach with you.
I have been doing some more carbing up and it is now time to sleep and hopefully wake up dry, shredded and ready to do battle. Sleep tight

Ready for weigh ins!!
Npc card for 2014!!!
My friend Mando is just having one more beer before he cut's his fluids and then he will be ready haha
Shitloading with pizza is one way of doing it the question is was it for me or for my friend Mando??

San Diego roadtrip and weigh ins!!

Ok me and my friend Mando left for San Diego at 8.30 and after a lot of traffic in the LA area we finally reached the Sheraton Misson vally hotel at 2pm. It is really nice down here in San Diego and really hot. We checked in to the room and then went to Target to buy some stuff I will need for the weekend. Mando got him self a hugh burrito at Chipolte that looked freaking good and I stuck with cold rice and chicken. The time is now 6.30 and I have put the first coat of tan on. I think you always look sharper without the tan but under the stage lights it will be a different story. I got the weigh ins and registration coming up in about one hour. Ok I'll rest now and will give you the scoop on the check ins later.
With my biggest fans here in Cali Siena and Naomi.
At the hotel.

I got to lay out by the pool and swim with Siena for a bit too who was there with her grandma. The Fair was in town so we went there as I promised Siena some cotton candy.
Not to many people at the gym at 5 am.
The Hoist equipment is kinda good.

Touchdown Los Angeles

It's Tuesday afternoon and I landed yesterday in LA at 6pm. Went to get my rental car and like always it took forever. I then drove for about three hours before I finally reached Nipomo and my friends house. The trip took me about 27 hours from door to door so I was pretty tired when I got to my friends house. We had to catch up on things so I got to bed at 01.00 am and then I got up at 4.30 to go to the gym and do my thing. Did not really put on any water from the flight and this morning shape was pretty ok for me. I am depleted but on thursday it is time to load up and to start drying up. I got back training at a gym I trained at back in 1998 and it is now the best gym in town. It has all the hammer strenght you need.

Shopping for food at Vons!! I love the stores here as they have so much to chose from.
Food prepping!!
Finishing of a great day with going to the movies watching 22 jump street and almost stayed awake for the whole movie.

Chicago O hare

Travel time!!

Ok the day has come that I have been waiting for. My morning started at 04.00 with some coffee and Olimps EAA.
I kissed the family goodbye and drove of to Arlanda airport. I am now sitting at the gate waiting to board my plane to LA by the way of Chicago. I am very exceited to go "back home" see all my friends and of course stepping on stage again. I have not been on the stage since july 2012 so it is about time. Right now I am depleting my body from carbs and drinking a ton of water. I will deplete all thrue Wednsday and then start loading after my morning workout on thursday. I am very tired now and I look forward to the loading process.
The good thing is no more long cardio sessions so these shoes are going in the dumpster.
Went shopping for some Swedish "smågodis" candy for after the show went a little out of controll as I piced over 3kg haha. Ok bording time!!!

The journey…the journey, I promise you, is the greatest thing ever. The destination always takes care of itself.” – Ray Lewis

First of all why am I Writing in English when I´m Swedish and why do I go and compete in America when I can compete in Sweden. I love America, it is my second home and it has been that way since I first moved there as a 16 year old boy attending high school as an excange student.
I made some really close friends from back in 1994 living in California and it is a Life long friendship that has grown even stronger over the years. All my friends in America of course wants me to write in English so they can follow my blog and understand the things I write so there you have it.
I might mix it so sometimes in Swedish and sometimes in English we´ll see how it goes.

Ok it is friday morning and I am now 9 Days out from Tournament of Champions and 16 Days out from LA Championships. How am I feeling? Well the lack of carbs in the diet and the hard training and cardio sessions has of course taken it´s toll on my body but my mind and spirit is strong and I am happy. I only have a few cardio sessions left and the work is pretty much done when it comes to training. I will do my last leg training tomorrow and it will be high reps, high volume and then I got some lighter workouts to do when I arrive in California. I will train all the way up till Thursday and then my loading procces will start. When you start a prep for a show the road ahead of you usually feels so freaking long but suddenly the day has come when it´s time to put on the posingtrunks, it is a weird feeling putting in so much work and dedication for only a very short time on stage. Is it worth it you might ask? The way you feel when you look in the mirror and see your reflection of your body that you sculptured for months and months and the challenge you put on yourself and knowing you came out on top, despite the pain and agony you been going thru it just really makes you proud, so yes it is Worth it to me.

Today I will spend some quality time with my son William as I won´t see him for almost two weeks.
We will go see a Movie, visit Toys´rus and he will most likely stuff his face with a burger or pizza and let me sit there and Watch haha.

This weekend will be all about family time and getting stuff ready for monday morning.

I´d like to thank my sponsor Olimp Sport Nutrition for providing me with the best supplements and for all there awsum training clothes from Live & Fight that make me look stylish in the gym.
My biggest supporters and the two persons I love more then words can describe.

I will keep you all posted on both competition and vacation time in California and Hawaii.

The different faces of the different diets!

Over the years I tried all kinds of diets like the high protein diets, the high carb diets and the high fat diets and
The one diet that makes me most happy but not the best looking is the high everything and no razor diet haha.
I just scrolled my picture gallery and are amazed how much I change and the conclusion I can make out of this is
Don’t use the high everything diet anymore because it makes you a fat bastard haha.
I can promise you one thing though, I will use my favorit diet for at least a couple of days after my competitions because right now I am f…….ning starving. 12 days out and still going strong.
